About the Owner

Welcome to Excel At Math, LLC!

My name is Yasmine D. Julien, the Owner and Executive Director of Excel At Math, LLC. I am pleased to provide my professional services, along with other highly qualified mathematics instructors to help you obtain the necessary skills to excel at math.

For over a decade, I worked as a classroom teacher in the K-12 public school sector, and college setting. My classroom experience offered me numerous opportunities to equip students with the necessary confidence and drive to succeed in math. Some of the tools used to meet the needs of students include: hands-on experiences, cooperative learning, real-life applications, and technology. I am pleased to say that my hard-work and tenacious efforts to develop students’ math skills and boost their overall confidence in math each year fared well.

Currently I serve as a Middle & High School Instructional Coach at a Public School in Washington, DC where I am instrumental in developing teacher content knowledge & pedagogy to properly implement the Illustrative Math and Agile Mind Math Curricula.

I am grateful for all of the experiences that I have been fortunate to acquire, and am looking forward to using my skills to further develop learners through our work here, at Excel At Math, LLC.
