II. Enrollment & Registration
-
Enrollment requires completed forms, acknowledgments, and payment setup.

This assessment allows us to determine the student's current proficiency level and create a roadmap for their progress. Success is built on accurate placement and consistent scheduling.
III. Tuition, Fees & Billing
Tuition is billed on a monthly cycle and is due on the 1st of each month. We strive to keep our billing simple and predictable for families.
- Payments are accepted via major credit/debit cards through our secure portal.
- Late payments are subject to a daily late fee of $5, not to exceed $35.
- A sibling discount is available: the first sibling receives a 10% discount, and each additional sibling receives a 5% discount.
IV. Attendance & Make-Up Policy
Continuous progress requires consistent attendance. We understand that emergencies happen, but we ask for your coordination to maintain scheduling integrity.
-
Up to 2 credited missed sessions/year with 24-hour notice.
-
Missed sessions without notice are forfeited.
-
Sessions cannot be transferred between students.
-
No refunds or credits for missed sessions beyond the policy.
V. Code of Conduct
To ensure all students can focus and learn, we maintain a positive and professional environment. Students are expected to arrive on time, bring necessary materials, and treat tutors and fellow students with respect.
Disruptive behavior or lack of preparation hinders progress and may result in a review of the student's enrollment status.
VI. Technology & Privacy Policy
We utilize digital learning tools and assessments to leverage the best in educational technology. Student privacy is our priority.
- Data collected is used strictly for instructional purposes.
- We do not share student information with third parties without express consent.
- Devices used during sessions must be for educational activities only.
VII. Tutoring Scope and Results Policy
Our goal is long-term academic growth and conceptual mastery. While we work diligently to improve performance, we cannot guarantee specific grades on individual school exams or standardized tests.
We are committed to providing high-quality instruction aligned with state standards and the student's personal learning goals.
VIII. Unexpected Closures & Weather Policy
In the event of severe weather or building emergencies, Excel At Math generally follows the local school district's closure decisions.
Families will be notified of any session cancellations via email and text message at least two hours prior to the scheduled start time. Virtual sessions may be offered as an alternative.
IX. Photo, Video & Recording Policy
To celebrate student success and build our community, we may occasionally take photos or videos for school marketing materials. Families can opt-out by providing written notice.
For security and quality control, recording of tutoring sessions by families or students is prohibited without prior written permission from Excel At Math management.
X. Termination of Services Policy
We aim for a lasting educational relationship, but we understand if circumstances change. Families may discontinue services with a 30-day written notice sent via email.
Tuition already paid for the current month is non-refundable, but credits for future months will be adjusted based on the notice date.
XI. Policy Updates & Communication
Excel At Math policies may be updated periodically to reflect improvements in our program. The most current version is always available on our official website.
Substantial changes will be communicated to families via our primary email list and posted in our family portal announcements.
XII. Non-Discrimination Policy
Excel At Math does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, or disability in its programs and activities.
We are dedicated to providing an inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to excel and grow in their mathematical abilities.
