Homeschool Algebra I Course

Earn 1 High School Mathematics Credit

Excel At Math proudly offers a comprehensive Algebra I course designed specifically for homeschool students. Using the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum, students will develop conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and mathematical confidence through engaging lessons, discussion, and real-world applications.

This course is ideal for students preparing for higher-level mathematics courses, standardized testing, and future academic success.

In-Person Option

Location: Excel At Math Learning Center

Day/Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:00 - 2:30 PM

Start Date: August 4, 2026

Live Online Option

Platform: Interactive Zoom Classroom

Days: Mondays & Wednesdays

Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM EST

Start Date: August 5, 2026

Instructional Hours

This course satisfies the Carnegie Unit requirement for high school credit. Our structured curriculum includes:

This full-year Algebra I course covers all major Algebra I concepts, including:

  • Expressions and Equations
  • Linear Functions
  • Systems of Equations and Inequalities
  • Exponents and Exponential Functions
  • Polynomials
  • Quadratic Functions and Equations
  • Statistics and Data Analysis
  • Mathematical Modeling
  • Problem Solving and Reasoning

Students will be encouraged to explain their thinking, justify solutions, make mathematical connections, and apply concepts to real-world situations.
