How does movement-based learning work at camp?

We believe math should be active, not just on a worksheet. Students learn by: • Moving, building, and acting out math ideas • Playing structured games that reinforce key skills • Solving real-world challenges in teams This approach helps students remember concepts longer, reduces math anxiety, and makes learning feel fun and meaningful.

Is the camp suitable for students who struggle with math?

Yes. Math in Motion is designed for a wide range of learners, including students who: • Need to review and strengthen foundational skills • Feel anxious or discouraged about math • Are ready to be challenged in new, creative ways We keep group sizes small, offer lots of encouragement, and meet students where they are so they can grow at a comfortable pace.
